On October 6th at 7 pm, Dierks Bently will be performing his Mountain High Tour at the Toyota Amphitheater in Wheatland, Californa. As the tour title says, its Mountain High time. Dierks got his inspiration for the music on this album while attending the Telluride Bluegrass Festival in June of 2017 in Telluride, Colorado.
He later went back there and recorded the album. Overlooking the vast mountains of this area became both solace and inspiration at the same time. And we’ll not even mention the “Colorado High” that went along with it. We all know what we are talking about here since the legalization of marijuana in the state of Colorado.
But let’s put our feet back on the ground and come back to reality. We are not in the mountains of Colorado and although California has legalized marijuana use with Proposition 64 and Proposition 215, getting a “rocky mountain high” while you are at the concert and then driving back home, is not recommended. It is a crime to drive while you are high.
Although it is legal to possess less than 28.5 grams of marijuana or 8 grams of concentrated cannabis, to consume the cannabis you must be located in a private location and be over the age of 21 If you are over 21 years of age and found consuming marijuana in a public location, or possessing over the legal limits, or under the age of 21 either possessing or consuming….you are committing a crime and can be arrested.
Bail Bond Shealy wishes everyone attending the Mountain High Tour concert a safe and enjoyable experience. But, if you or someone you know gets a little too “happy” and is arrested in Yuba City; Sutter, Butte, Colusa, and Yuba Counties you can give us a call 24/7 at (530) 743-7000. We are here to provide you with a fast and happy release from jail.
